On a recent road trip, hubby and I spend two nights in Boone, North Carolina. The town of Boone has easy access to the scenic Blue Ridge Parkway. We planned on visiting and hiking to as many waterfalls we could fit into our visit. I am sharing photos of the Upper and Lower Linville Falls and photos of the Crabtree Falls.
The trail to Crabtree is described as moderate, parts were difficult walking a rocky trail.
This is the Crabtree Falls
A view from the Blue Ridge Parkway, North Carolina, we were on the road to the next waterfall.
This is a close view of Upper Linville Falls.
This is from the overlook called Chimney View of the Lower and Upper Linville Falls. If you look closely you can see the people at the Upper Falls.
From Erwin’s view overlook we could see the river below the falls.
I hope you enjoyed the waterfalls and photos.
