These are some scenes from around the capital city Reykjavik in Iceland. Our trip was from Sept 2-7. On different days, we walked around the city and near the harbor. We had views of the Tjornin Pond which had a nice walkway with various sculptures. Lots of birds were seen at the pond and harbor, including various gulls, swans and ducks.

Our Iceland hotel was the Icelandair Natura Hotel. From the hotel we could walk into the city for sightseeing and to check out various cafes. A few days were spent with tours right that picked us up right from the hotel.
I have many photos from Iceland and the various tours we took. I already shared the Snaefellsnes Peninsula coast tour. My next post on Iceland will be on the Grand Circle tour. Iceland is a beautiful country, I highly recommend a visit.
Thanks for the trip reccommendation and the great shots.
I hope you are having a calm and peaceful pre-Christmas week.
